What makes a fare a deal?
We look beyond the price alone — comparing savings, travel dates, route quality, and airline reputation to surface fares worth your attention.
-
Lower than typical prices
We compare each fare against typical prices for similar routes, dates, and trip lengths. If it is meaningfully lower than usual, it can qualify as a deal.
-
Reasonable travel dates
A low price only matters if the trip makes sense. We prioritize fares with practical travel windows and trip lengths that are actually worth taking.
-
Better route quality
We rank deals higher when they include nonstop flights or reasonable connections. Very cheap fares with too many stops are less likely to be treated as strong deals.
-
Airline reputation
We also consider the airline behind the fare. A good deal should balance price with a carrier travelers can trust.

A flight deal is a fare that is meaningfully lower than the typical price for a similar route, destination, and travel period. For example, a $420 fare to London may be a deal if similar flights usually cost around $650 – about 35% below typical. We also consider trip length, route quality, and airline reputation, so the deal is useful, not just cheap.
Start by choosing your departure city or airport. We’ll show the best available deals from that location, then you can refine the results with filters, destination search, and AI-assisted search. For example, you can search by region, trip length, travel style, direct flights, or flexible ideas like “warm places in March.”
Flight deals can appear at any time, but the best opportunities often show up when airlines adjust prices or release unusually low fares. Flexible dates, destinations, and trip lengths give you a better chance of finding a strong deal.
Yes. On the results page, you can search for a specific city, country, or region. For example, you can look for flights to Rome, Italy, Europe, Asia, or South America. You can also search by trip style, such as warm weather, food trips, islands, hiking, or city breaks.
There is no single best day to find cheap flights. Prices change constantly, and strong deals can appear at any time. You usually have a better chance when you start looking early — about 1–3 months before domestic trips and 2–6 months before international trips. Flexible dates, destinations, and price alerts help you catch fares when they drop.
